Pet Parade

Costumes must be in good taste and appropriate for your pet.  Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash, or they will be asked to leave the area. 

If you have two pets whose costumes are a part of one obvious theme, you may register the pair together, for the same price.  If their costumes are unrelated, each pet must be registered and paid separately.

Also acceptable: you may enter as a group and all be in costume as one entry if costumes are part of one overall theme.

Registration opens at 1pm. After registering you and collect your entry number, you and your pet will be directed to the waiting area.  

From 2pm onwards you will present your pet to the judges.  The judges will take notes and ask any questions they may have related to the costume.  This shouldn’t take any longer than a few minutes.

You are then free to take your pet, relax, grab a cider, enjoy the Orchard & meet our vendors.

At 3 p.m. Contest participants need to report back to the Registration area to line up for the Parade of Dogs. This gives the event audience the opportunity to enjoy all the costumes. Then winners will be announced.

All participants must register in the events tent by 1.30pm on the day of the festival.

The registration fee is $10.

Once entered into the contest, all proceeds will go into supporting the Caring for Creatures.

Each entry will need to provide their name, pets name, phone number and email.

Winners will be announced at 3pm at the music stage, where winners & prizes will be awarded.
